Undergraduate Admissions

-Applicants must have at least a high school diploma approved by the authorities in their respective countries and recognized as equivalent to a full high school diploma in Iran. Academic certificates and transcripts issued by the universities of their home countries must be verified by the Embassy or representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their home countries. Applicants from countries whose diploma value is not equal to the value of the high school diploma of the Islamic Republic of Iran must complete supplementary courses for a period determined by the executive centers and pass the pre-university courses successfully before continuing their education in the universities of Iran. They will be introduced to the universities by the Non-Iranian Student Scholarship Council. Foreign nationals who have graduated from high schools of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad can continue their education in the universities and higher education institutions in Iran. Foreign nationals who have graduated from schools inside the Islamic Republic of Iran are not eligible for this program and will be subject to the regulations for the admission of Iranian applicants.

Postgraduate Admissions

- Applicants for master's programs must have a valid bachelor's degree :

• Academic certificates and transcripts issued by the universities of the home country must be verified by the Embassy or representative offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the home country.

• The approval of the academic group based on the approved criteria must be collected.

• For admission in basic, technical, and engineering programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, the applicants’ average grade point must be, at least, 14 out of 20 or its equivalent.

- Applicants for the doctoral programs must have a valid bachelor's and master's degree :

• Academic certificates and transcripts issued by the universities of the home country must be verified by the Embassy or representative offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the home country.

• Applicants must have an average grade point of, at least, 15 out of 20 to enter the Ph.D. programs in the field corresponding to the field of their master's degree.

• Applicants of a research-oriented Ph.D. program must submit an original version of their research proposal.

• For applicants of a research-oriented Ph.D. program, the academic field of the master's degree / professional doctoral degree must be relevant to the requested Ph.D. field or the topic of the original version of the research proposal.
